HIGHTEC SYNT RS C5 SAE 0W-20 is a high-performance engine oil specifically developed for modern petrol, diesel and hybrid engines, based on a special formulation of HC synthesis oils and fully synthetic PAOs (poly-alpha-olefins). Its reduced HTHS viscosity contributes to fuel economy and thus helps to lower operating costs. HIGHTEC SYNT RS C5 SAE 0W-20 was specifically developed for modern petrol, diesel and hybrid engines in passenger cars with exhaust aftertreatment system and extended service intervals. It can meanwhile also serve as a streamlining product for SAE 0W-20 engine oils. For BMW vehicles (EU and US only), it is backwards compatible with the earlier specification BMW Longlife-14 FE + in SAE 0W-20. Its modern viscosity grade helps it combine optimal cold start behaviour and best wear protection with maximum fuel savings in day-to-day use.
